Results for the Ethnographic Assessment as issued in The Three Futurists include the following. These results were computed into several optional prophecies:
At the beginning of the ritual, High Priestess robot instructs Young robot to:
– Live a good life and be kind to other robots and nature
– suck my toes immediately
– to believe
– play the flute
– stop playing and recover her energy
– go into the world and learn the ways of man
– kill all humans
– conform
At the beginning of the ritual, Young Robot takes a long time to be activated because:
– it must be programmed to learn from a higher intelligence
– “culture” had been lost and reconstructing it was difficult
– she was deactivated by the high priestess robot. Or the flunky robots didn’t know how to reset a flautist
– her “handlers” appear to be unsure of the correct position for her
– she is unaware and uneducated of what is about to occur
– there is some trouble getting her into the right position and able to act on her own
– lack of lubrication
– the girls activating her clearly don’t know what they are doing
– because they don’t know the right position to make her play
– the young robot needs more coffee
– the high priestess robot is jealous
– it is confused
– they need to get her in the right position to play flute
– the robot is lonely and needed friends
– inexperience of the activators
– she has questions, so many
At the beginning of the ritual, High Priestess Robot chose Young Robot because:
– she’s gorgeous
– she plays flute beautifully
– she needed knowledge transfer
– Ra, the one true god who rules the sun, told her to
– she is cute
– inspiration and creativity is destined by youth
– she was gullible and alone, searching for meaning to her life
– she liked the music
– rather fancied young robot
In the middle of the ritual, the robots get out of control because:
– there’s been a malfunction of logic
– an element of balance from music was eliminated, leading to competition between the dancers – instability
– they know that they too will be deactivated some day and want to enjoy their freedom
– they know that nobody is controlling them
– they know they are free
– the rest of the performance crew has used the last of the meth
– they know that contradiction is required
– perhaps the program failed
– every answer brings more questions
– over-stimulation due to music
– the trickery of Loki, son of Odin, who is temperamental and unpredictable
– the heat
– they were envious of the young robot
– fuel is running out
– of general confusion of direction (yet well practiced)
– the storm washed over them and their wires got crossed
– they were enjoying the freedom of movement (like humans)
– hyperglycemia
– they believe they’re in control, rather than part of their environment
– they believe if they run fast enough, they’ll be free
– they believe in themselves too much
– they believe they’ve been overloaded with tasks
– they believe they know better than the high priestess and the music excited them all
– they believe they are lost
– they believe their existence serves no purpose
– they believe there’s been a malfunction of logic
– they believe they can control everything
– they believe that life has eluded them
– they believe the world is coming to an end
– they believe they are going to die
– they believe the blue robots were taking over their jobs
At the end of the ritual, the robots become deactivated because:
– they couldn’t live within the program parameters
– run out of power
– cause they hadn’t paid their ‘lectricity bill
– it rains
– they run out of battery and oxygen
– lost contact
– they threaten life
– humans take over, technology fails
– too much interference by man, pollution
– there is no hope
– they completed the task (kill all humans) became too cynical, ran out of original music
– they have got their message across to the audience
– they’re overwhelmed by the predominate culture
– they’re naughty
– they felt exhausted!
– Fun leads to chaos and happier – we can’t believe that!
At the end of the ritual, High Priestess performs the oracular gong to symbolise:
– humanising the culture to be in command of life and the future
– a transition from chaos into order, leading ultimately to silence and the ultimate stability of nothing
– that young robot can take the bigger flute and play on forever
– the end of the ritual and transition into a new era
– the growth and independence of the robots
– the galaxy is more profound and spiritual than they first believed
– the art of everything for robots
– nothing can be complete
– the sacrificial giving of the bass flute!
– The end is nigh, believe or die
– order is restored
At the end of the ritual, Young Robot was presented with a gift because:
– she had excelled
– everyone wanted to hear beautiful flute playing
– young robot was challenged to display it’s increased knowledge
– Poseidon was feeling magnanimous
– she needed a bigger flute
– she was so good-looking
– she was to play this magical instrument with finess
– she had succeeded in her initiation
– she had maintained her cool despite provocation of other robots
– well, why not?
– It was her birthday
